30 March 2011:

#5: I am very lazy. I like to procrastinate things, and have little or none creativity. Like when I am supposed to think of something after someone has offered a suggestion, I would only be able to think of that person's answer.

29 March 2011:

#4: I am Hokkien, but my Cantonese is better than my Hokkien. I think it's because Cantonese is more frequently heard (dramas, people talking), although Hokkien is the dialect with most people speaking. But mainly, I just like dialects. So it doesn't matter actually. But I really should make my Hokkien more fluent.

28 March 2011:

#3: I like Taiji a lot. Heh.

27 March 2011:

#2: I feel strongly against most vulgarities; there is no point saying it since it either makes you angrier, or doesn't do anything.

26 March 2011:

I don't like the weekends.

It's not like I am an anti-social freak that hates weekends cos it means having to meet people. (Well, maybe sometimes.) I dislike weekends, because weekends are when both parents are at home. Now you must be thinking: this is one rebellious kid; hates it with parents. But, if you don't understand my family situation, you do not deserve to comment.

Being in a dysfunctional family really does do something to your mood. You get all negative and moody. At least, that is the case for me. Weekends are the days where I have to face the authoritarian for the entire day, instead of only at night during weekdays. Take note, I may be rebellious, but my feelings do not just arise just from that. It's because of years of pressure and torture. Yes, I would use torture, or maybe abuse might be better.

If then, I had the brain to take a picture of my wounds, or maybe just go to the police post straight away, there might be change. At least, the authoritarian would have to cut back on the discipline measures. Years of discipline made me complying, then rebellious. It does kick in sometime, where the brain doesn't want to be pushed and pushed. It will want to break out. No need for total freedom, I admit I'm not mature enough for it. But maybe in a truly "democratic" household, not one that resembles a communist regime.

Alright, that shall be enough of my very moody rant. I shall blog about my conquest to finish homework, although this is much duller than the previous topic.

For the first time in years, (seriously, years) I felt the urge to really do homework. Not the kind of rush work that I used to do, but serious work. I don't know where this sudden push came from, but it did. I finished (half of) my Chinese homework already, which would normally be impossible even though it is my best subject. So, can you imagine how much agony (and of course laziness) I felt everytime I had to do Geog homework last time? In the end, I really didn't do it.

Back to where I was. So, later in the night, I shall be completing other homework. There's History speech which is a week overdue, and I think there is also A Math exercises to complete. I think I shall also read up on Chemistry, since I feel that I'm lagging in it ... That's all for now.

Wait! If you have Twitter, you would have known a Trending Topic known as #100factsaboutme. I shall start it too, but on my blog, one per posts. So that'll give me a long long time to think of all 100, since I will take at least half a year to finish the facts. Here's the first one.

#1: I have a dark side.

25 March 2011:

I went back to TNS today.

22 March 2011:

A crisis is coming up soon.

I don't really want to talk about it, since it's rather private, but some actions will be taken, that won't be liked by some people.

I have slowly shifted into a new style of blogging. After some thought, what I mentioned in the previous two posts won't happen: the labelling. Sorry about that. But it's actually rather troublesome to label posts, and I don't wanna read back my posts to label them properly. If you really want to find a post, I suppose you could use Google to specifically search my blog for stuff? Although besides robots, I can't think of anyone else that would want to search stuff.

Today there was another History essay, which was sort of a test. I missed a large part of points, so I don't think I can get much marks. To add on, all my PEEs were rather faulty. Seriously speaking, I don't think I can pass at all.

20 March 2011:

I just realised I missed the annieversary of my blog.

My blog started on 17 March 2010, I wanted to write a lot of stuff on that day but I was in camp. So I forgotten about it, only until today when tweaking settings of the archives, then I remembered. So, happy belated birthday, blog! LOL.

Oh, as you would have noticed, it's a new blog skin. I must say it was very fast as compared to the previous few blog skins that I did. Of course, I left a lot of homework undone. So that's the downside I suppose. I have taken away the Cbox, since all it does basically is to attract "blog-walking bloggers" with websites that are scammers.

Also, I will post at least four times a week. Of course, some of the posts may be some random musings and rants, but oh well. The sidebar has also been pushed to the bottom. It's actually so much nicer this way, I feel. It's also easier to change the code if anything goes wrong, because it follows a natural flow.

Okay, now to talk about my day. I woke up at 5am with a temperature of 38.0C. Took 2 panadols, and went back to bed. At 9am I woke up again. Thankfully, the fever was gone. However, as I'm typing this now, I still feel a bit feverish. I don't know how I got this flu (it's flu, I suppose), except that perhaps sleeping for 8 hours over two nights during the camp lowered my immune system a lot.

When I blew my nose just now, the colour of my mucus was dark yellow. Not a good sign at all. This would mean there is still a lot of bacteria in my body. The mucus was soo thick, it felt a little disgusting. Later, I gonna have Math tuition, which the classroom is very cold. I hope my body would be able to take it. I sure wouldn't want to be shivering the whole time.

I need to complete my Math holiday homework during tuition. Then after tuition, no more using the computer. I need to finish all my other holiday homework. Maybe after dinner then I shall use it, to complete History research on the S&F of LoN. Tomorrow's the History test, and I am so not prepared for it.

Tomorrow for councillors, we will be released from lessons at 1345 for cheer practising. Yay, missing two periods I think; Bio and English. Actually I wanna look at my Bio results first. I really hope I did well, no more careless mistakes, and that my Bio and Chem are good. I have already received my Chem paper back, so there's no more anticipation.

Chem wasn't well done, since I should have gotten 38/40 if there were no careless mistakes. So I hope for Bio and Phy, I won't be as careless. Chinese is the first period tomorrow, I'm also really anticipating my Chi CT results. The compre was hard, so I hope I can get at least 80%. But I think it's gonna be the first time my vocab section is not getting full marks. Must admit, I was a little complacent and didn't study the vocabs then.

That's all for now.

19 March 2011:

Just a short update on my blog.

I am hungry for a new blog skin, [awkward expression I know], so I shall start doing a new one. I recently saw D's tumblr, and the minimalist theme was very nice. So I am gonna largely copy it [yes, I have zero creativity], and use it as my theme.

My new theme shall also have the sidebar all the way at the bottom. So technically, I don't think it shall be called a sidebar anymore. Maybe ... bottombar? Lol. Also, I think I'm just gonna stick with serif fonts for the entire theme. Non-serif fonts are a little difficult to match with serif ones. My favourites are Georgia and Bembo. Well, Georgia is common, but Bembo isn't, so maybe I have to use fallback fonts.

I think I'm also gonna have random short updates for days that I am too lazy to update, so I'm also gonna raise it to min. 4 days per week. I think the lack of pictures is still gonna stick, depending on what I feel after I've finished the theme. And I'm gonna go back to labels, since I think labels do actually make your posts more organised. I wanted a tag cloud last time, but couldn't cos a lot of my posts were without labels.

18 March 2011:

I actually wanted to rant bout a stall before dinner.

But after I ate it, I decided not to. Well, yesterday, I ordered Hor Fun from the stall at the kopitiam beside Siglap Centre. The soup was bland. The kway teow is just flour stuck together, no joke, it has NO TASTE AT ALL. The meat is worse than vegetarian meat, it tastes totally fake. The prawn tasted so Q it seemed fake.

So I was very reluctant to order from the same stall again. But what could I do? That was the only stall open at the kopitiam. I just ate Macs and KFC, so I can't eat that. Bascially, I don't know what to eat. So anyway, I still ordered Hokkien Mee. Before this, I didn't know that Hokkien Mee had a soup version, so I was very surprised when I was given a packet with soup inside. I still asked if this was Hokkien Mee. The stall auntie gave me a look and started explaining what mees are dry, what mees are soupy.

I felt like an idiot, still a little surprised. I was pretty sure that was Lor Mee they served me, but I just said Okay and went back. The moment I reached home, I opened it. Yes, Hokkien Mee smell. So the lady was correct after all. This Hokkien Mee was so much nicer than the Hor Fun. I don't want to give a detailed description of the Mee, but it was so much nicer.

And that was the drama of the night. In other news, there was this woman at the opp. Parkway Parade bus stop that went round asking people if they had a dollar. I don't want to be so mean, but I think she is either very despo, or having a screw loose. She literally went to almost everyone in the bus stop (which is a lot, since it was peak hour at PP), and asked the same question. For Malays and Indians, she used English. For young Chinese, she used Mandarin. For old Chinese, she used dialect.

I must say I'm impressed with her languages, hahah. That was incident of the night, I suppose. Wushu was alright just now, spent time talking with A about the recently ended camp. [I wanted to do a post about the camp, maybe that shall come after this post. Any later and I'll forget details of it.] Of course, the rest of the time went to Y. :) Today was one of the rare days that I was very enthu about Taichi. Normally, I would be very restless, and I would be coming up with lots of excuses to slack, when coach is not here. Surprisingly, I was not for today's training. I even did two consecutive fist and sword routines.

Basically, that sums it up. Oh, and the authoritarian is coming back today. Let's just wait and see if the Cold War still continues.

12 March 2011:

無題

My dad is an authoritarian and a disciplinarian. He is a failed parent.

The people in Arab know how to fight back. Authoritarian regimes never last forever. One day, I shall to what I shall do.

9 March 2011:
