Some random musings V.
1. ERMAGHERD PEOPLE, THE WORLD HAS REALLY ENDED ON 21 DEC. I REALLY SHOULDN'T HAVE MOCKED THOSE PEOPLE WHO BELIEVED IN IT.2. The phrase 'see how' is possibly The Most Annoying Phrase of 2012. I don't know when it exactly became popular (at least amongst my social circles) but I'm guessing it's this year.
This phrase is a scumbag. It is often thrown to provide no definitive answer, and the speaker cannot be regarded as a dao-ist because he has replied.
On the recipient's side though, this means nothing. This phrase does not have a more positive or negative connotation, a bit like LOL where people overdose on it and it becomes meaningless.
Therefore, given a choice, I would surely vote 'see how' (optional 'lah') as The Most Annoying Phrase of 2012.
3. I really hope somehow that this time it is not false hope anymore. I really do want such a job to do.
4. There's less than a month to the release of O Level results release. I truly haven't done anything academic in these two months or so; I can feel my IQ dropping from 2 to 0. I talked with my senior B yesterday about JC life. He was telling me that the transition would be smooth enough. Hopefully so.
5. There are new syllabuses for O Levels on SEAB's website. After reading some, I really wished I was born two years later lorh.
