22 May 2012:

The best never rest.

(Okay I don't know what's with the title.)

I met R and his girlfriend just now while waiting for the bus on the way home. He was saying how lucky it was for people who have low L1R5s, since they do not need to study much during the June holidays.

But then again ... The top pupils in our cohort will surely never rest; they will continue to study hard during the holidays to keep up the high standards, isn't it?

DH was saying just now that he only has 11 points for L1R5. If you compare it to people like me, it's so good already; I would wish for a score like that for prelims. Don't even mention those who get 20+ points.

Sometimes people in other classes resent students from the top two classes, saying they are nerds that are very proud. Apart from the PRCs, it really doesn't seem that they are nerds. They just know how to balance time very, very well. As for the proud, it's because they say things like 'only 11 points'. To them, it's really disappointing since their standards were so high to begin with. To others, it's like they're showing off.

The best never rest; to me, the best isn't only from triple science classes, but anyone that works hard. So 大家加油吧.
