17 September 2011:

What if I had an infinite amount of money?

My mum first asked my this question casually. But it led me thinking a lot. Yesterday while chatting with S, I was reminded of this. So here goes.

1. I'll open a centre of Forensics Research in Singapore. It will be the best in the world, and the largest in the world. It'll have 10 storeys, with Level 10 handling Forensic Pathology only. The world's most renowned forensic pathologists would flock here. Level 1 to 9 would handle other departments of Forensics, like Forensic Psychology. All major forensic cases in Singapore would be handled solely in this centre.

2. I'll open a Buddhist temple. I'll find a time to meditate there everyday, and have free meals everyday to anyone that comes to the temple.

3. I'll open a centre for Chinese Studies. A whole centre for the sole purpose of studying Chinese. Not the kind of degree at NUS or NTU, but a long-term course where members can drop in every week to study anything Chinese. Personal bias: I would only offer modern Chinese history, since I can't be bothered with the dynasties ages ago.

4. ... Sadly, I can't use these money to buy people happiness, or buy time. I'll have to work on that.

That's about it, 3 wishes I hope to accomplish. They arer 99% impossible, but not without chance. But I bet until I die, no one would be able to fulfil that fourth wish.

TTFN.
