Don't talk to me about blog viewership.
Haha okay this is not an emo blog post about how pathetic my blog viewership is. I just decided to blog today after so long because (1) it's to fulfil my promise of blogging 4 days a week, and (2) I have nothing better to do haha.
1. I'm playing Empires and Allies by Zynga. (It's not a sponsored post or anything!) So if you are playing too, please add me as your ally! Something's wrong with my interface, and I can't invite other people! I've already highlighted this matter to Customer Support, and Glenn from Zynga impressed me so much with his prompt reply and nice attitude. I've been rating him and Zynga rather highly in their surveys. This, compared to Metro Games. I've similarly lodged an inquiry, since the game I was playing was suddenly "stopped": there were no more missions. That left me pretty confused, so I e-mailed them too. No reply after 5 weeks.
Back to Empires and Allies. If you still don't know what it is, it's a game where "players build up their island empires, create virtual armies of tanks, planes and ships, and battle their enemies while defending their allies". (Lazy me copied it from the blurb given by Zynga) I've always liked empire building games, and I think a lot of people too! So if you are still not playing it, why not try it out! Remember to add me as your ally!
2. I'm still learning Russian! The book on the left is on my wishlist, the book on the right is the one I have borrowed from the library. Sadly, I have to return it by today. Also, the book doesn't really elaborate on Russian grammar, but I learn a language with its grammar. So, it's not too suitable for me. Other books that I can find in the library are more of traveller's guides, and it doesn't teach me grammar too, only basic phrases.
It's time to save money for the book! But first, I have to look for bookstores in Singapore that sell it! Russian is, after all, a rare choice for a third language here, so maybe not many bookstores will carry it. Still, I'm keeping two fingers crossed! #надежда
3. I'm having a date on October 29 ;) This is the first concert I'm going to, not even my idol's Stefanie Sun's The Answer Is ... concert two years back. And please, she is no old auntie. Although she has been a singer since 10+ years ago, she is still a 女神. Her style of singing is so unique, and her voice ... 天籟. She is on a higher pedestal than Stefanie Sun, and I think everyone will agree. Am very eager for her concert :) But because the first two categories of tickets sold out within 9 hours (WTH?!), an extra $280 had to be forked out! ): The amount for two tickets was $566! :O 人生至少要看王菲一次。
4. (This has no picture, yet.) Planning for the investiture has been tiring but satisfactory so far! I really hope the investiture on July 25 would be a big success. Tomorrow's gonna be our first rehearsal, hopefully everything goes according to plan. But Mr K already warned us twice that tomorrow, the situation will be very chaotic. Never mind, whatever comes, my team and I will be able to handle. :)
